We asked the teachers why they teach at Holy Cross Catholic Academy. Here's what they said:
"You will not find a better staff or better student body than you will find at HCCA. We truly have the best school in Amarillo." "Coming from a public school setting, the class sizes are much more manageable. The discipline problems are few and far between. I mostly like the Christian atmosphere." "I would tell them [parents considering sending their teens to Holy Cross] that if they want their child to be a standout student and not just a number, they need to come to HCCA. THEY WILL BE PREPARED for anything when they graduate from here."
"I like teaching at Holy Cross Catholic Academy. I enjoy the small classes and able to to teach one-on-one with each student." "Parents wanting to send their kids here would enjoy . . . [the students'] opportunity to pray and serve God."
"What a great ministry to be able to teach and share the faith at the same time." [to parents] "Your children will not get 'lost in the crowd' here. The teachers here care about your child. Where else can you get a great education and worship God at the same time (out loud)?"
"I teach at Holy Cross so that I can share my enthusiasm for my Catholic faith and for life sciences." "Holy Cross is a school that is centered on Jesus Christ and His Church. It also has strong academics."
